Hey folks I'm coming home from the east coast for a vacation from school and am hoping to get a little info on otter creek. Just wondering if the ice is off and if so where could a guy go on a boat for a good day of fishing. Any help would really be appreciated!

I know that the ice is all gone from Otter. Couple guys from work stopped by there a week or two ago during their turkey hunt. They caught a few but I didn't get the details. Knowing these two I would assume powerbait and/or panther martens. Old habits are hard to break for those two[Wink].

Shortly after ice off, probably a month or so ago my son and I caught 8 fish, one being a decent fish at 25" and the others were 10 maybe 11" dinks.

Last week Friday, we went again. My son caught a 7" er' and that was it. The pathetic thing was that it was the biggest and only fish I saw caught that day.

The lake was pretty muddy on the south end. We fished both ends of the lake. The north end was clear, but it didn't change our, or anyone else I say fishing's luck.
