went sat and it was super slow. water was 49 early and got up to 54 but still slow. we got 2 in the boat and one got off. my buds only got one crappie in there boat and saw another tourney boat only catch 2. someone in the tourney managed a 6lb smallie but several were carrying empty bag to weigh in. the bruneau and narrows are way to muddy and the snake isn't exactly clear. crawling a plastic was the only thing. not worth the money to go to owyhee and i don't have a tank to unload my boat at brownlee so looks like i take a beating at lowell with the rest. a buddy only caught 2 on fri at lowell.

Sounds grim... I was thinking about Strike maybe this coming weekend.. Was out at Lowell yesterday with similar water temps. We were skunked after about 4-5 hours. Will be fishing a tourney at Cascade in a few weeks.. wonder how that water will be this Spring.

Seems to be a tough spring this year so far... need some warmer weather.

cascade will take a while. all the rain here is snow there. i bet it will take a month for cascade to warm up.

I hope the ice is gone by then.[Wink]

Hey IdahoJeep!

Nice fishing with ya! We will go again after it warms up a bit OK?

We didn't catch any either Saturday after we split up. We found some warmer water (51F) but we only fished it fro about an hour and then we had to go. I think maybe the afternoon may have been a little better.

Sounds like we were the lucky ones of the day. Boated 8 Friday evening and 27 Saturday. But it was brutal!! 2 guys non stop all day Saturday. Caught 1 stinking Crappie in the narrows and the rest came off of the hump. Not worth the amount of work that went into it. For what it's worth I tried every color under the sun. But every single fish was caught on red and white.
