So, I found this site by telling my fish story last night at easter dinner. I had been fishing east canyon and caught a the biggest fish of my life for sure, so of course lighting could strike twice a week later? Not so much I got skunked and my bro put a few on. Not as if a 0 IS NOT BAD ENFOUGH BUT LOOSING YOUR NEW SAGE AND LAMBSON REEL WITH SUPER SINK LINE OUCH!!! So I am telling my story to my family and my cusin says have you ever been on BigFishTackle.com, I have never heard of it till that moment. He said it has all the local reports and a lost and found area. He told me to check it but I did not until his call this morning. Hey I think I found your rod he says. I could not believe with in two hours I was talking to the person holding my fish stick!!! Bduck thank you and Skye you rock! Thank you for getting me back on the water. BigFishTackle.com you are my hero!!!

Welcome to the site Brownhunter, I'm going to move this post to the Utah board, so you will know where to go, in case you haven't already been there. Isn't it great when fellow fishermen or women can help each other out, like helping you find your lost fishing pole. BFT is a great site with a bunch of great fishermen, we also have many other boards that might be of interest to you like our Fly fishing boards and Float tubing boards to name a few. If you need any help finding your way around, feel free to ask.

That's great news.
I just wish someone would turn in my son's fly rod that he lost at Willard Bay.

By the way,
Welcome to the Forum.

I hope that the HONEST person that returned that rod & reel gets totally mobbed by the most and biggest fish of his life. Good on ya whoever you are.

Well if anyone catches a big catfish at Wilard with a pole attached to it. It's mine.

(Self note: do not leave pole attended in a unsecured place on the boat.)

Funny, I have an Aunt who has lost one in a lake in WI. N. Pike will send a pole flying if you're busy rowing to troll as motor trolling is not permitted on that water. It's so clear of water, I've snorkeled for it for years. I'm sure it would be rusty nothing if I ever found it but it would be pretty cool to find it.
