We fished the Dog fight tonight and went out for a little right before we had to start taking in money. I boated two little shorts and Colby boated one almost 3 lbs. We then headed in to collect the money for the dog fight. After blast off Colby and I found some bass holding off a long underwater point. It was only 4/5 foot on top with a drop down to 6/8 foot. They were there but hard to get to bite. I broke one off on the hook set and another broke on a run. Time for me to change line again. We boated about 14 bass with most of them in that one area. Caught the majority on shakeys and half the time you did not feel them hit. The wind blew most of the evening and made it hard to tell. Once the rain moved through and the wind died it was very nice of an evening but the bass also stopped hitting when that happened. Still was a good little trip not counting the hurricane wind again. emoAngel Our best five this evening would have gone about 14 and a half lbs. emoThumbsup That seems to be where we usually are now days for five fish. During the tournament we ended up with our best three at 9.37 lbs for second place and we did win big bass honors with our best one at 3.73 lbs.
