Im in the market for a newer fishing boat. I use to have a 23 foot custom weld but with the declining economy and higher gas prices we were forced to sale. we always had a 14 foot crestliner that was cheap to use and a fish magnet, but growing family and mom and dad wanting to start tagging along now that there semi retired it became to small.

I looked at crestliner sport fish and it has more front deck then it does back and most of out fishing consists of trolling and drifting.
I was thinking about picking up a customweld viper in the 19 foot range But not sure what they are like on fuel the last jet boat i had you filled it up with 120 gallons and it lasted from sun up to sundown fishing and playing.
Another one i was thinking about was a alumaweld striker buddy has one and it seems like a decent boat.
I want somthing that you can enclose the cab and heat it will keep the family out fishing when weather turns less desirable and a boat that isn't cluttered with seats and unnecessary things that dont apply to fishing so that puts most ski and fish models out.
I also considered a smoker craft osprey but it was rivited and im not sure i want to go down that road as the last riveted boat required a lot of maintenance.
Post up pic of what you have and why you dislike or like it I have to drive 150 to 200 miles to boat dealers to shop and see what i want. so i would appreciate any input.
