a friend of mine just went there today with his bow for carp and did pretty good!!! he didnt really give me much info on the water and such!!!

Its muddy. Little low was letting alot of water out. Carp splashing in shallows but hard to see with the stained water. Good luck. [bob

Yeah it was little low. Their letting a lot of water out to get ready for the snow run off. The river up above the res was low and pretty clear but its been almost a wk since i was thr.

Yeah we'll have to see what this rain and warm weather does to it. Still, it may be worth a look later this week. The nice thing about the Preston area is that there's always another place to try nearby if you don't like the conditions at one of them.

Yeah, thanks for the info. I was thinking that they might be letting water out. So it is probably not a good choice for spring fishing this year!!

Nope, fishing the river is out of the question for now! Least not for the next little while. HIGH AND MUDDY. They are letting the dam drain down low, I just got back and the boat ramp on the dam is out of commission! Its that low again. Fishing sucked for me only had one on in five hours of fishing today. Still dark collar but the carp where all over the banks...
