Well put in at byington about 1045 and headed up and what a change in water clarity from wens night. Was chocolate milk, we are talking some good meadow gold 1% low fat moo milk in color. Hit a few spots below the rest stop and decided to see if it was the creeks that were dumping all the dirt in. Made it to burns and that is the culprit. Anything below that right now and I will be honest your better off doing something else other than fishing that stretch. Ran up around to the cliffs past the corner above where the river road ends and the clarity was a little better. Fished a bit and saw a few fish ( read far and few between) rolling on the surface.
Didn't hook up with anything, not even any solid hits.
Fished with worms, threw some flys, nymphed a bit, and tossed the old standby rapalas and nada. Going to be hit and miss Im thinking until after runoff and things mellow out.
