so do the adults come first and then the jack or what?
So when you start seeing large numbers of jacks does that mean most of the adults already came through?
Still trying to figure all this crap out

In normal years the big push of jacks follow the peak of the adult run. This years not normal though. The adult run is almost a month behind and the jacks are ahead of normal. So either the adult run is going to drop off soon, there is going to be a large run of jacks or something different. LOL who knows predicting columbia springer runs the last 5 years has been more crystal ball speculation than science.

Yeah the jack count doesnt say much anymore other than there are little salmon to catch as well as the big ones [cool] Cant remember if it was 2007 or 2008 when there were tons of jacks but the next year was nothing like the predictions. Nope the best thing to do is catch them jacks and eat em' cause they dont help predict the next years run.
