The myriad of past discussions on Yuba Pike have been very enlightening - thanks to all for their previous insight.

We'll be hitting Yuba on Sunday (onthe way back from Sand Hollow), and are hoping to CPR some of the toothy critters.

Can anyone shed light on the best areas of the lake to locate Pike? From past Eye trips, it seems like the best spots would be the brush across from the main ramp, and the shoreline across from Painted Rocks, is this accurate? Is the inlet area any good?

Thanks in advance for any guidance - PM me if desired to avoid hotspotting.

I would think that it could be.

By the way if no one has been down there? I took a trip to Gunnison last week and the lake is as full as I have ever seen it. Backed up past fayette!

Good luck on your trip!
