For the new season begins, I plan to purchase a new boat. I think an aluminum boat could be a good option for me because of their lighter weight and the top speed they have with less HP. In doing research, I noticed that the company Princecraft princecraft.com says their aluminum is more resistant (the H36?) ... Is it really better than their competitor??
You know, when it comes to an aluminum boat, it really doesn't matter who you go with. Some people may have a different opinion, but an aluminum boat is an aluminum boat. Doesn't matter if the name on the side is War Eagle, Lowe, G3, or in this case, Princecraft. They are all shallow draft boats designed for freshwater and inshore saltwater fishing. For that reason, they'll never be in rough water conditions, so the exact hull design really doesn't matter. The aluminum boats with a bow entry will probably keep you drier, the flatter ones will draft shallower, different models from different manufacturers come with different options. The only thing i'd be looking at, is price. What brand can you get the cheapest, in your area. The beauty of an aluminum boat is, you can add crap to it easily, and most do-it-yourselfers can handle the work.
