What's a "dough bait" and how do you fish it?

DOUGH BAIT IS JUST WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE I OFTEN WILL JUST BUY A LOAF OF FRENCH BREAD AND YOU GET SOME OF THE TREBLE HOOKS OR DOUGH HOOKS AND I LIKE TO PUT IT BELOW A BOBBER OR OFF THE BOTTOM AND WAIT FOR FISH.
