I was just checking the Bur. of Rec's boat ramp levels and was surprised to see that between midnight Sat. and mid. Sunday, Arrowrock Res. climbed an amazing 5.25 feet.....and that is vertical! Wow. I just wish they would be storing it in Lucky Peak instead. They have been dropping LP for some time now. Mike

Wow, no wonder that tent was only a foot from the waters edge!
My dad and I trolled around up there for awhile Saturday. We caught over 25 squaws and 1 trout. The place is polluted with trash fish. 10 years ago you couldn't catch a squaw if you tried.
I think F&G needs to treat it the same way they fixed Cascade. Only 1 "northern pike minnow" was submitted in the trash fish competition up there a couple weeks ago.

I agree. The squawfish are taking over. Ive even started catching them while fly fishing on the middlefork of the boise. FaG needs to net/shock, and get rid of the trash fish. Back in the days when we could fish with live minnows, we used to use those squaws and suckers as bait, and we dumped what we didn't use on the bank. More fun fishing, and kept the trash fish numbers down. And we never used minnows unless we caught them right where we were fishing, and didn't transfer them anywhere.

You can use Squaw fish for cut bait anywhere in Idaho. Ron
