With a late start, Sport and I fished from 1-6pm. Gloomy looking skies with a serious wind<br />stayed on us all day. We fished deep drops early with 1/16 oz. jigs. The crappie hit on a 12-15<br />count. Ghastly Minnow and Outlaw Special dominated. We had over 20 keepers on the first 2 stops.<br />Caught several crappie on a dock in 8-10 fow. on a 3-6 count with the wind killing us. The trolling motor <br />battery gave up here, forcing us to anchor or hold on to docks and fish. FRUSTRATING! Sport got a<br />14 incher, and I caught a 2lb. 6oz. bass. No boat control kept us from staying on crappie. We still<br />managed 51 keeper crappie, with Sport cleaning 22.
