Got up early yesterday to stick my toe in the water and see whats biting.<br />Carried bass and crappie gear and after a slow start went to crappie and headed out north on the river.<br /><br />When I put in there was DK hollering at me and warning me to stay off his holes. I asked if he had a gun so he could emoEnforce me if he caught me on them!emoLaugh<br /><br />Caught two tiny crappie at one of my favorite big fish holes and decided to move on to a more regular spot.<br />2 fish, but state keepers at least there.<br />I had no feel for any of them, I just lifted, felt a little resistance and set the hook.<br /><br />When I had done this enough to tie on my third jig after setting on pilings, I went south to greener pastures.<br /><br />I was really just shaking down the boat today so I tried to burn half a tank of ethanol-free gas. I succeeded in doing that so I hopped from one spot to another and ended up in the WT creek.<br />I got to say hello to Polo who was busy clearing debris and trimming his property.<br />After I left him I sauntered over to a dock I like and caught crappie in numbers and some 11&#43; inches(my boat minimum).<br />I got out at 1 PM and went home to plug my batteries in to charge.<br />Crappie: 17 with half being keepers.<br />All fish released and good colors for me was chartreuse and blue outlaw and my big ones bit the twin tail pearlescence.<br />Nice to be back( but I miss Florida)<br /><br /> emoCool
