Fly fished the small pond today in my new fat cat floatube and it was very comfortable and worked like a dream. Caught 13 bass lost 4 and 3 were legal bass largest was 13" . The best fly was anything with legs either on top or strippin in along the reeds.

About 3 weeks ago took it out on a test run only for about 1/2hr just to see what adjustments I needed to make.
Checked the prop oil when I got home and it had some water in it and so I took it in for a refurbishment on those seals and a new impeller. Figure that should take care of most of the important issues. I had put a new spark plug in and it started very easily and seemed to be strong.
The boat is small, so an upgrade will happen, but I believe I can still take out 1 other person. believe I will need to make some seating arrangements. I still am happy with it and have had fun working on it.

Don't bass at Bruneau Dunes need to be 20" to be legal to keep?

Yeah I have had to fix a few things on mine as well. I'm probably going to have someone go through my lower unit this winter.
Have fun! Sounds like you and I should hit Owyhee sometime when I get back from Dworshak. Gonna be dow my way soon?

I was thinking of heading down to bruneau soon, and I looked it up to be sure and you're right limit is 2 none under 20 inches, thanks for the report Idahopanfish, I've never been there but I've been wanting to check it out. Its good to hear they're biting, one thing I haven't done yet is get a bass on my flyrod I'll have to give it shot.
