I'm taking the scouts to Lindon tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. I'm hoping the warmer temps forecasted will get the white bass going again so we can get the kids into some fish. Anybody try it today after the rain stopped? I haven't checked the water temp in a couple days either, so any info in that regard would be appreciated. I'm hoping it gets to that magical 60 mark before we get there. I'm also open to other destination suggestions if you've been doing well. We'll be coming from SLC, so I'm trying to stay as close as possible.

While I'm asking for info. I might as well give some out. Went to Provo tonight from 5-7 and caught 9 crappie, 2 bluegill, 1 white bass, and 1 carp. I was pretty excited to get into some crappie. Little jig under a little bobber. Sorry, left the camera at home.

I was at Lindon last night from 6-7 and caught four whities fishing on the west dike. It was fairly windy so it made casting tough. Tonight's forecast doesn't look good with the wind, between 10 and 15mph.

The crappie fishing in the harbor has been slow, but with the higher temps you may have better success. Good luck.

River fish are definitely more fun to fish for. When I was a kid the middle Provo had some absolute monsters in it. Anymore it's the land of the dinks and way too many people. I don't even fish it much anymore. Occasionally a big fish or two will come up out of deer creek, but an 18"r is now a rare treat when I use to catch them by the dozens throwing streamers all year.

Doctor I work with fished the Lindon boat harbor area from shore with his son 2 days ago, caught about 100 white bass with jigs.
