The day before, I was fishing and met a guy from Ohio who told me he and his wife were moving here and had just bought a house in Harrison Bay.

I told him about the types of fishing and patterns some used here and invited him to fish and scout with me.
Well he took me up on it and we launched around 6:30AM.

He likes to bass fish and asked about tournaments so I kept telling him to get on CFF.
He is an excellent fisherman, so I tried the crash course for the "system" on him.
Like a duck on a junebug!! He understood the shooting right away and the reason for the hi-viz line.
Hal, he was an advanced student like radio John, and soon he started catching fish.

We fished lower lake and WT creek.
I gave him as much info as I could and never seemed to overload him.
He was like a sponge and then he was successful with catching a few good crappie from docks and bridges.

We finished with about 28 crappie and late in the day decided to keep a few for his supper.
We quit at 1PM.

A really good time with a new guy who is looking forward to making friends and fishing our area.
They are in the process of moving and hopefully he will join in here with us on CFF soon.

pics are 1 a sweet day, 2 his first crappie on the "system" and 3 a nice un'.

Water was 78 degrees and we were all over as far as baits. Blue ghost with a tail light was the best for big fish, and we fished DEEP

emoCool
