Heya guys,
Some of you seem to be interested in fly fishing so I decided to post a pic of some flies I tied this evening. My fly boxes were starting to look bare.. this should fill them up some..
The left row is Rickard's Seal Bugger's tied in two flavors.. you'll notice I lost the hackle on one.
Middle row is my carp flies.
Last two rows are San Juan worms.
You can tell I like the red San Juan worm... it absolutely kills in most lakes I fish.. so does the Seal Bugger.

Nice, I think its crazy that you can catch carp an a fly setup. I have to see that [

].
I bought some fly tying gear a few years back. I don't have a fly rod/reel, but I use the water bobber method, with a really long fluorocarbon lead. I caught stocker trout on every pattern I tied, but those things will bite anything at times.
I'm not pro at tying yet, but still manage to get out some decent flies. These are the first and only flies I have made so far.
I have lots of San Juan material, and Hackle left if anyone needs some, I dont plan on making to many more flies.

Heya Jimboslice,
Those flies are nice bro. I'd gladly use any you tied

. If you ever do start fly fishing, you're going to need a smaller san juan worm. Long ones like that tend to foul the hook, though I guess they work fine if you're bobber fishing

.
Thanks for sharing bro. I always love to see what others have tied.
You don't need a fly rod at all to fish flies. I have carolina rigged flies for youngster's in the past. A buddy of mines 11 year old killed 3 experienced fly fisherman this way several years back. You can also suspend flies under a tiny bobber to mimic the indicator fishing I did in my blog article on Kirch. Works just as well as the fly rod and you don't have to worry about the kids hooking themselves casting a fly.

Sorry for the rapid posts.... but has anyone else had trouble posting in line pics... I use to have the ability, but now it no longer allows me to. Don't think I did anything to my profile or anything to change it. It just doesn't give me the inline link I used to have.
Thanks,

Nice flies guys [cool]
Telbone use the browse tab and find a picture.
Upload attachment let it load up.
Check the inline box.
There is a "insert image" tab at the top next to the change font color tab.
You should see the pic name and just click ok it will insert the image where the cursor is.

Ben,
I used to have that tab.. it no longer shows up for me for some reason hence my inablility to post in line pics... I used to be able to do so.
Thanks for the help though,

When you are posting, it gives you an option to "switch to basic editor". If you hit that, it will take away some posting options. You can switch back the same way.
If that isn't it, I don't know what could be wrong. I am not having any problems with mine currently.

Ok guys,
I finally figured out how to do this the hard way since the simple way no longer exists for me
1)Upload file
2)Check In line box
3)type ***[Inline Filename]*** w/out the astericks wherever you want the pic to go. If you have more than one pic uploaded then use the filename of the one you want to go in that spot.
[Inline Flies.jpg]
Worked for me since I don't have the easy way any longer. I did check and I am on the advanced editor.
