Hit the UL bank for a couple hours after work yesterday and managed 10 whities. This is my 3rd trip to the lake for whities this spring and I sure have had fun catching them and trying to figure them out. Caught my first females of the spring (2 of the 10). A big thanks to tubedude and all the others who have posted helpful info. Chartreuse, white and red jigs all worked well. All were between 9-10 inches. 20 fillets will make for a nice little dinner for the fam!

Glad you got out and found a couple fish to pull your string..Would be nice if the weather would calm down for more than one day at a time...Hate to keep sneaking out for a 2 hour window when mama nature isnt looking. So far I have only had 1 female in my basket and I have caught a bunch so it should be on for awhile.WEATHER PERMITTING

I hear ya on the weather thing, fishfearme2. I'm hoping by next week, if we get a few sunny days in a row, that it'll get really good...I'd love to have one of the "5 gallon bucket" days on the 'ol whities! Can't wait.

I've attached a pic of the end result, which we enjoyed last night. It went down just fine and the kids loved it! Hopefully I'll get out more this weekend...
