We hit up Jordanelle and DC today. I thought it was going to be an awesome fishing day. Boy was I wrong!! We trolled all over both lakes, and got skunked at both lakes. I havent been skunked it several years. I dont know what was wrong. Its a new moon today and the moon and sun rise and set within a hour of eachother. I usually have sucess with these conditions. Oh well. We did see a wild bobcat at Jordanelle. Magpies were flying over its head squaking. I think it was looking for the birds nest. For you bass guys Jordanelle surface temps were 49-50 degrees and Deer Creek was around 55. Good luck!

I will probably head up there saturday morning and throw some jigs and pull some spinner rigs then. Wish the water was about 60 degrees though. I will let you know how I did. Thanks again for the info.

Fished DC yesterday from 0700-1200 with my boy and we caught 20 nice fat 16" bows between us. We were trolling from the island to the railroad tracks. Fish were from 10-20' deep. We used all kinds of lures but they liked the red ones best. Turned off about 1130.

We had a great time trolling around. Those 16" bows put up a heck of a fight. There was no question you had a fish on when you saw your pole going bendo! Wind came up around 11:30 and the fishing shutdown. Here are some pics from the trip. I think thats the first brown I have ever caught out of DC. All fish were released to fight another day.

Going up tomorrow to try from my tube. Saw a couple up by the island and a tooner down in rainbow bay. Can't decide where to go. Anyone want to go with?
