WB are real fish. To some of us WB are new and exciting, and some of us like to share info, so others might also be successful.

I don't get it. If you had posted that Bass at say 4 or 5 lb, someone would come back with questioning the size, in which 20 would come back with "comments like that scare new comers away" and they don't post anymore,

Not to be rude.....but most of your posts are from UL. If you would like to see posts of "real" fish, you are a member and are welcome to post said pics. The WB are a great fish for young kids to catch and many of these posts on UL WB involve young kiddos. Most of the people on here that I know enjoy seeing the pics of kids with fish, no matter the type or how often. In a few weeks the WB posts will die down and there will be more Berry and Catfish posts made, I for one enjoy them all.

I am offended. I love white bass. It is my favorite fish,,,,both to catch and eat. I fish for whities all year round, spring, summer, fall, and yes...winter. UL is the best lake in Utah. I wish there was a special post section dedicated to this number one game fish. If there was a pro white bass circuit, I'd quit my job and join.

I don't post very often, but I also fish for WB all year long. Any I catch, I freeze for my catfish bait. That's the only thing I use and they catch big cats. In most cases, I'm not bothered with mud cat. Maybe it's the size of the hook and the size of my bait.

Is it legal to use white bass for bait? Thought perch were the only gamefish we were able to use as bait. You use a whole one or chunks?

Oh, I'm not hurt or offended, but your post was derisive and strongly worded, so I matched your tone in my reply.
I don't mind being challenged either, but to me WB and learning UL in general ARE that challenge right now. I made seven unsuccessful trips to UL before I caught one, for whatever reason. I just like panfishing better than any other type, ice or soft water, so I do it.
We can all find something to make fun of about the other guy, if we're looking for it.

I am always amazed at BFT.A guy can ask a question about a sonar unit, a boat, or even a certain lure. All very relevant to fishing, and their post gets moved within 24 hours. But a post like this that really has nothing to do with fishing, just reporting about fishing, and the other thread about locking posts, they get left up.
