went out with my dad and mom and wife and kid to chesterfield saturday. got there about ten or so and it was packed, i have never seen so many boats and people in my life. tied up next to the inlet next to the dam and the water was dirty coming in and never caught a thing.
Ran back to the boat ramp for a second and there a guy showed us his two fish he had caught, i'm telling you i wish i had some pics, the biggest was about 8 or 9 pounds. the second was a good six or seven. He told us to go out in the very middle, and just drift with a worm. Thats what we did and it was good. caught about six in the next hour or two. Had a 4,3,2 and a couple smaller ones after that. All in all, it was a wonderful day with perfect tempuratures.

Also went fishing Saturday at Chesterfield. We mostly trolled with good success but no large catches. The biggest I had got off right before I got him to the boat. It was busy but most people were respectful, with the exception of a few. Hate to bring up a hot topic again, but these people that think they own the dock and refuse to reel in their lines while boats are loading are just ridiculous.

All in all it was a good day. Most success was on a black and yellow Lil Jake. Kids had a great time and that's what it was all about.
