WHAT: Boater James Byrd of Muscle Shoals, Ala., caught a five-bass limit weighing 22 pounds, 1 ounce June 4 to win $6,610 in the Walmart BFLMississippi Division tournament on Pickwick Lake.

NOTES: The next Walmart BFL Mississippi Division tournament is scheduled for June 25 on Grenada Lake in Grenada, Miss. After the fifth Mississippi Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 13-15 Regional Championship on Wheeler Lake in Decatur, Ala. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
