Hit the one of the best lakes in Ut for panfish and it didn't disappoint. []

Do the Crappie seem extra black this year, or is it just me? I caught one today that was almost solid black.

I went to UL on Tuesday and we caught LMB, White bass, crappie, bluegill, bullhead cats, and channel cats along 100yards of shoreline. Panfish rule...

The black crappie in Utah Lake are still in spawn mode. I have been catching those ultradark males since May. I love it when the males get colored up like that. They should really be winding down by now but the jacked up weather this year has extended the spawn for many species.

i was out there yesterday again and there still chasing each other along the banks that's crazy. But i don't mind it, i wonder if this will mean more fish fry for next year.
