went to henrys, caught a bunch of fish nothing worth while aside from a 3lb brook trout on my third cast. spent 4 days there, got blow overboard and took a swim, rode out a nasty wind storm wensday night till thursday morning. watched people rip hooks through the water at the docks to foul hook cutthroat then get yelled at by some guy. was fun and am going again!

You sound semi-masochistic! Which part was fun? Watching poachers, got blown, getting dunked, got stormed on, or not catching much to write home about?
(ribbin' ya! I had a LONG less than stellar day yesterday. But hey - it was a vacation day well spent. I was a-floating, and a casting = what can I say!)
I'd throw up a post, but after TD and FGs "no excuses" extravaganza - I don't think I was the only one in N. Marina with higher hopes than were to be revealed.
so - some guy yelled at you, or the snaggers? Or you yelled at the snaggers? Daring in a float rig, eh?!
Heck - it's an adventure right? Did your rig flip - lost tackle, or just you pitched out? Kinda scary no?
dude was yelling at the snaggers, either undercover F&G or a very passionate fisherman. i was standing on the seat of my scadden and the wond blew me right off, hung onto my fly rod and the zip pockets on my waders kept everything dry, nothing flipped. wasent scary i was anchored in 6 feet of water. the one thing i was most concerned about was if there was anyone around to see me go in. wont be standing on the seat any more, the casting deck is just fine

The Idaho wind can be pretty wicked! Glad you didn't loose anything.
I have a few of those kind of experiences behind me too. Usually I am not allowed to forget about them either! Those really are the "fun times" that we laugh about for years after. [blush] [cool]
