Happy Daddy Day fellow fisherman! We are going down to Yuba this next weekend Can any of you walleye pros give me any tips.. Any hot spots or locations would be very helpful. We do have a boat but we have never done much fishing at this lake. Taking my sis fishing for the first time so any fish we catch will be fun.....

Try the sand at East beach. Walleye may still be on a bug bite. Its later than normal, but the weather has been odd. Try 1/8 oz big hook jigs with an orange head and a crawler. Fish 5 to 25 feet. If nothing is on the sand, try main lake points that drop off fast with baseball size or bigger rocks.Chartreuse 3 to 5 inch grubs with the same jig or a crawler. Don't be afraid to throw some deep diving cranks across the points. Perch pattern or bright colors. Any size. They don't sell one too big for the Pike or Walleye.Perch pattern, Gold, or silver spoons tipped with a crawler can be good, vertical jigged this time of year. Think Kastmaster, Hopkins, Crippled Herring, Little Cleo, anything with some flash and action. Might get some Perch.Try the narrows. North side, both ends. And the(I'm assuming) sunken island just West of the narrows on the North side. Try Google maps. I think it shows up on there. Maybe someone can chime in and say whether its above water or not.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Bob gave some prety good stuff and location.
east beach used to be great before the drought years.
try bottom bouncers worm harness with a hammered silver blade. try around 12 feet to start that was always good for me this time of year. hope this helps.
