Me and a buddy went to the lake yesterday. Caught 30 ish walleyes, 10-20ish inches, brought home 2 limits, caught 2 rainbows a 15 ish and a 18 ish both fat healthy fish, 1 big perch 13 ish and I caught a big A** carp, hit right over the side of the boat, hollared net net net,,, I tought for sure it was a 15+ pound eye,,,,,,,,,,,, nope. big ole stinky carp. I told my buddy I wish it would have broke off so I could have thought I hooked a monster eye all day. on the water at 545 off the water at 230. dinner will be amazing tomorrow......

I have a pretty good guess but that would be against the forum rules. Just consider the different species he caught and you can narrow it down.
the fish are in yuba star dc and ut lake.

oh yeah, some lake past strawberry a ways then hang a left bofore some town,,,, and it blew like a sumbitch,,,, caught a bunch jiggin, smoked 2 trolling motor bateries by 10 and then drifted in white caps. caught a bunch drifting too....

Depending on the direction I'm driving you coulda meant Deer Creek.[Wink]

Thanks for the report! Never could understand why so many Utah fishermen don't appreciate the beauty of drifting with the wind. It always seems to catch some good fish and the quiet of no motor noise is hella relaxing.
