This may be a bit early, but i just moved up here to Idaho and will be going on a trip to island park the first weekend of august. Because I am a master's level student, this may be my only chance to go fishing until next may[:/], so i was curious if anyone knew what kind of hatches there would be on henry's fork, especially hatches around the warm river and also around island park itself.

But this year is not typical at all! From what I understand the hatches are way behind. If it stays cool they may stay behind, but by August they might be back on schedule.
Your best bet may be to call some of the shops like Henrys Fork Anglers and Jim's All Seasons Angler.

That late in the year I would recommend hoppers, caddis, beetles. I'll also put a copper john dropper behind the hoppers and beetles. An ant patter should work well also. And if you want to go a little less purist I would recommend panther martin spinners in holographic cast down stream and retrieved back towards you very slowly past likely looking structure [

Its a little tough to say what will be going on in august right now because its been such a weird year so far. A lot if the hatches have been late or just not occurring the normal way. With that said I agree that a hopper dropper setup is a great that time if year. Just make sure to check again when it gets a little closer.
