heres a p ic of this fawn i saved from a coyote. we heard this fawn scream 4 or 5 times, looked up and saw a coyote chasing him. i carry a 22 on the boat so went around the corner to try and get him. the deer was gone and the coyote was shaking off water. i took a hail mary and missed. about 10 minutes later we saw this deer trying to swim back to shore after failing to swim across. we went over and it was out of gas so we gave him a 1/2 mile ride to safe ground and hoped mom would find him. he would have been dinner if we wouldnt moved him or he would have drowned.

thats is as good as a big fish catch any day of the week. i've been around fawns quite a bit and they are a different animal than the adults. it was probably beyond belief.
