Wondering if anyone is still seeing carp on the surface at Lincoln Beach harbor. Anything in the shallows south of the boat launch?

And if anyone knows of any carp around Springville, please let me know.

[cool][#0000ff]There will still be a few carp crashin' the shoreline for a a time yet. The spawn spread out this year and there are still a lot of unspawned females. Best bet is early. There will be clumps on the surface and they will move in when the sun hits the water and warms the shallows.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]You shoulda been at Deer Creek this morning. HUGE carp wallowing all along the flooded grassy edges of the flats...from the turnoff to the River. Positively obscene.[/#0000ff]

That's good news! Probably no bows allowed at Deer Creek since it's a state park?

I know they don't let me take my bow into the Provo Boat harbor.

[#0000ff]The Charleston area is an unimproved site with no camping facilities. I think that has a lot to do with it. You can park there and then wade and shoot all along the grassy shoreline to the south.[/#0000ff]

I took my family last saturday. He hit 4 but couldn't make them stick. Used gigs. We could only get them in the shallows because the water was too murky. 2 ft or less.
