Spent some time on Bear Lake Saturday to see if the fishing was any good. We started on the east side just off cisco beach at about 7:00am. We trolled for two hours without even a single hit. We trolled a few different rapalas and some flatfish. We marked quite a few fish down at about sixty feet. We headed for the rockpile for some jigging after no hits on the east side. We managed to land one small mack on a raindow jig in 70 feet of water. We seen quite a few marks on the bottom and quite a few suspended fish. They seemed to very gun shy because they scared off easily when you would bring your jig up to them. We a few more hits after that and spent the rest of time looking for fish for next time we go over. Water temp was 62 degrees. No problems with the state marina as far as water level. Still a few people on jet skis and people water skiing. It can only get better from here on out.
