The new parking lot is finished and now has double the parking spaces for boats/trailers.
The landscaping is still having the finishing touches put on it so please advise everyone in your party to tread lightly on the new sod in the islands and around the edges where native grass seed is being placed.
Enjoy!

[cool][#0000ff]I got a quick look at the new area the other day. You have really added a lot of new space. Nice work.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Now if you could only make the ramp a bit narrower and steeper to reduce the number of battleships on the water over there...[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I'm guessing that you are already noticing an increase in useage because of the American Fork Harbor being flooded out.[/#0000ff]

The future plans, budget permitting, will include a seperate ramp just for non-motorized craft to be launched.
It has gotten much busier due to AF being flooded.
On a personal note, I have a full equity share at Timp Boat Club for sale. I don't want to sell it but the purchase of a new home dictates this sale. Could I have chosen a crappier time to sell?

[cool][#0000ff]The water level will drop in a couple of weeks and you will likely have better luck at getting some interest. I'm sure they will want to get open again as soon as it is feasible. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Better than waiting until the middle of a hard winter when everything is frozen solid.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Good luck. [/#0000ff]

If the ramp wasn't so steep, that's the only place I'd use on UL. I drive a 2wd. pickup and just can't afford the rubber I usually have to leave on the ramp to get out of the way before the power squadron jokers form a lynch mob.
