I got to drop my line in some salt water this week. It was only for about 30 minutes in two spots, but it was still super fun. I got to fish off a rockpile in Laguna for about 30 minutes, and then stopped at Balboa pier on the way home for about 30 minutes. Only caught three small Macrell and really small Smelt.

My wife reeled in a decent sized mackrell, but it popped of the hook right as I tried to take a picture. You can see the look on her face lol. I couldn't stay long though, we had the child with us.
