went to pinview the other day with my boss and a buddy of his. we kicked around the float tubes for few hours, we got in at windsufer cove and fish along the rocks and down trees for bass. it was pretty slow but they were hitting a 4 inch plastic worm pretty good and i was having some small strikes on some crankbaits. i hooked one, nothing great but it was still fun and then we decided to kick across to the other side and tries the weeds over there.. didnt take long and i hit this guy. im proud of it, i moved from iowa and this is my biggest utah largemouth, i hooked him on a 2-3ft depth orange yellow and orange crankbait. way fun to fight with and hit right away on the retrieve just off the weeds, tell me what you think and hope to everyone good luck

ok t you for clearing it up!! i thought it was but my boss swore up and down it was a large mouth bass. so it was his opinion to mine... lol all i had to do was sound lke i dont know much but hey.. solution resolved lol thanks

Yeah after seeing the picture it's 100% a smallie! I was just going off your post but now the picture is there... Those are some really distinct markings on him, gorgeous fish!!!
