I'll keep this short (for me), and to the point (no really! it can happen, sort of!)

Sunday sunshine, small window - late afternoon. Didn't want to fight the PS at Newton, or drive that far - DEFINITELY not going to Manuta[mad].

So hit my Benson stomping grounds[Wink]. Flung some bling, some blades/beads. Got on fish. Diving bobbers and stripping line. Good tugs!
Determined to maintain patience, and work the drag. I didn't break off a single fish. (one wrapped up the anchor rope, the HE took a big run, and broke free). Had one bulldog behind a log - moved the boat - waited it out, and got it to net - hk.yeah. Couple mudders messing with me.
Cookies @2lb, 3lb, (~17/18in) and a couple up to 5+ (22-24"). One was a very dark black/blue male. Ended up with 6-channels, and a handful of bullheads to play with. Missed a number too. Good way to end the weekend.

You sure those spinners working or are you catching fish first then hooking them up to those things :-)

Good job though! Nice looking. And tasty I bet!

Yeah - I just hold out a net, and they jump in the boat - kinda like Asian Carp. Then I pose 'em for a photo op. You caught me!

Not on Cutler he ain't! Like you tell me - you like to go fishing to get away. That is certainly a place for solitude and reflection. (ok - the occasional jetskis too!)
very cool report, entertaining too. thnks.
