Has anyone fished pelican bay shores latley? I used to do well for kitties but havent done much fishing this year. If any one can give any info around that area it would be much help to me Thanks

Couple weeks back I had a quickie before work in and around the S.S. public harbor. We caught a nice mixed bag of LMB, WB, BGills, crappies, bullheads and a couple of channels, about 2 lbs...

We caught fish in the harbor along the rocks and wading into open spaces between the tules along the shore outside the marina.

we used: curlytails, 2" in chartreuse, red/chart, white, and black.

Roadrunner jigs with white sparkle and red sparkle tube jigs.

Blue fox spinner, sparkly tinsel-looking wooly bugger fly,

Spinners that you hook a little jig to to make a tiny spinnerbait..

An Ice jig that looks like a little perch.

All tipped with worms or tiny bits of WB meat.
