Took off and fished oakley did real well everyone in the boat was catching a few walleye and did about the same as last weekend on the trout. buddy caught a couple to keep for the frying pan. he said he missed catching big fish as he hast went out in over a year. I said well lets go get some dinner and fish minadoka this evening . we got there around 5 and fished till 830. landed 6 real nice fish.
My daughter was up front hanging off the bow soaking her feet when a fish grabbed her pole. It started zipping line off the pole and she was back there in a flash taking care of business. she turned it twice and i could see she had retained every bit of information i had told her in the past. It made one final attempt to escape and pealed off 20 or 30 yards of line with the clicker just screaming. I watched her from ear to ear and say I got ya i got ya. I was so proud she did so well like she had done it a million times before [cool]

Beautiful day and fish! That is cool to be able to share some great fishing with your family and friends. Those Minadoka trout look like they are getting the feed bag on and doing well!

It has been a great 3 days spending it with family and friends and i truly appreciated the time off after working day and night for the last few months. but the family wanted to sleep in this morning so buddy and i snuck out bright and early. fishing was great from 630 am to 8 then it was just like someone shut off the light switch. But i landed 4 and buddy got one. we forgot the camera so excuse the crappy cell pic. This was the biggest of the day , If your planing a trip out there make it late afternoon evening or bight and early [fishin]
