Used to go to a fishing hole out in payette where you turned by a house and it was a sportsman access and you drove down a field and it came to the river ... we used to do good on the cats there. was wondering if anyone could help me find this place again... thanks in advance.. now that i am thinking about it could have been close to fruitland ....

Used to fish a spot similar to what you describe years ago just out of fruitland. Cross the bridge from Ontario and hang a left.

There are some good spots along the Payette river or if you have a boat fish around the mouth of the Payette. Don't forget your smallmouth gear!
