I am pretty picky with the lines I use, but this one has my attention a little. Im going to pick up a spool for a test run.

hmmm...just watched a vid on it and I'm curious. Be sure to post a review when you put some good time in on the nanofil Whizzle

Interesting looking line but on the expensive side. $20 for 150YDs of NanoFil is a lot of change. It obviously line for spinning reels given its small diameter will dig in to a baticaster spool on a hard hookset, causing tangles.
From the reviews I've read it has a 1/3rd greater castibility and 8lb test breaks at 16lbs.
Knots will be harder to tie as one reviewer stated:
" Like most polyethylene-based lines, NanoFil is extremely slick and slippery, requiring special knots. Berkley recommends a “NanoFil Knot,” which is your basic Palomar with an extra turn.
The only drawback I can see, other than price, is that people will have a difficult time tying some knots because of the line’s extremely small diameter. Fine diameters are just that much harder to work with for fumble-fingered folks. So take a deep breath and take your time. "

I might put out the bucks to give it a try...probably will go with 4lb line for Ultralight trout fishing. According to the reviews this line is best used on UL gear with light lures. Perhaps I'll be adventurous and use UL gear with 4lb line for stripers. Hook a monster linesider and that would be a fight!

I use that double palomar when i am fishing with braid.
Note step 2 where the line goes through the eye twice. Stops my knot slippage problems.
