Fishing Forum

A little late but had a family reunion up at Fairview lakes for the holidays and hit several different lakes. Fairview lake was planted late and sucked for fishing. Some of the other lakes between it and Electric lake were doing well with standard tackle. Spinners worked better with the stained water but not so well by the weekend when the water cleared and the hordes arrived. Trapped enough minnows in Electric to fish for the little time I had there. Any shallow water in the sun held minnows and the Tigers and Cutts were after minnows. Even in the shallows around the minnow trap. Not a lot of serious fishing but plenty of action to keep the kids entertained.

Also enough snow on the skyline to do a little snowmobiling on the first. Can't do that every year.
