Since my fishing buddy ditched me for tomorrow i am not taking the boat out to Deer Creek and i have decided to hit the fairview lakes. Anyone fished it this week? I am wondering about how stained the water still is.

I fished Huntington from the bank on the 2nd. We fished from the dam and had lots of bites, but only got one in. I was fishing with my 3 year old, so that may explain the lack of hook sets. I also fished it the week before that with the same result. The water is a little stained, but not too bad. There was a lot of debris pushed up against the dam, but the fish were rising in the scum, so I think they like it.
