I went fishing to Foster and Deep Creek today. The fishing wasn't very good at either place. While I was fishing I found a tackle box that had been left on the bank. The is one with a green lid and one with a blue lid. On the green one there is the name Jake on in it. If you happen to know who's boxes they are please let me know so they can be returned to the proper owner. Fishing at Foster was awful only one bite. Deep Creek we had some bites but they were few and far between.
Thanks,

Were you fishing from the bank or boat? Fly or bait? I'm just curious.

I was fly fishing from my pontoon. There were a lot of people bank fishing at Deep Creek and I only saw one fish caught. There was a lot of algae in the water. There were a lot of fish jumping but they didn't want to play.

I just sent you a private message. Please email me at sos1inmesa@yahoo.com. I'm Jake, and it is my tackle box. I am so thankful for your honesty. I've been sick to my stomach since losing all my gear! I will definitely be rewarding you. Please contact me by email as soon as possible so I can confirm to you it's mine. Thanks again!!!

im not trying to be a negative nancy here.. but i would ask for them to at least identify the contents befor handing it over.. even if the new member is the right owner dont want to just hand it over just in case it doesnt belong.. to many people out there that will lie to obtain free gear... no offence to them just saying.. better safe than sorry

Yeah, I totally understand! I can tell you the brand, my favorite spinners I left in there. I can tell you what knife was left with the tackle box. I can tell you the exact type bobbers and sinkers I use, I can show you my drivers license that my name is Jake, and I can even tell you how I've modified the inside of the tackle box to fit certain items. I can tell you exactly where on foster I left the tackle box. Man, I thought I'd never see my stuff again. Can't wait for a reply! Now if only someone can find my wifes wedding ring that she lost near bear lake this past week, it would be a great day!

Thanks catchandrelease!!! You are a stand up guy!!! It was a very nice unexpected surprise to see this thread and retrieve my stuff. I can't wait for my next opportunity to do an equally awesome good deed to the next person!
Being an "out of towner" and spending the past month fishing Idaho, I'll start a thread of my highlights of the fishing experiences I've had for the past month including the detailed craziness of the whole tackle box thing. Anyone who enjoys fishing will enjoy the read. No boring stuff at all! It might not be posted till the end of the week. My idaho fishing trip still has 3 days to go!!! [
