started off good but no topwater action this time. only 2 or 3. plastics cranking and jerking got us about 75. slowed down considerably as the day went on. biggest was about 2lbs with the average about 11-12 inches.

went to strike friday night for sturgeon and catfish. Had one small bite. Saturday morning went for bass. 3 of us had about 8 fish on topwater then went with jigs and cranks. we had a real good day. came home about 1200 and went back out with my family in the pontoon about 630. my kids towed/played behind the boat as i was using my trolling motor and my wife forgot her fishin liscence. I caught around 50 in that short period of time. i caught real small ones on jigs and caught some really nice ones with the crankbait. My wife was impressed with the big ones and i was not impressed she forgot her liscence.[
