Water temp: 86-91
Lake Level: approx 3ft low
Clarity: Semi Clear-Stained, 3-4ft vis

Had a good week on Carters this week. Out 3 days and 2 nights, even had 2 bait trips this week. Nice to be getting a few calls again The fish are finally starting to school a bit out deep, Tuesday we hit a school of Spots and caught 8 fish in 10 drops. I've been averaging approx a dozen Spotted bass per day and more than that on my night trips but today was by far the toughest day of the week for me and my guys. The water was stained from lake level/boat traffic and the fish were very spread out and picky today.

Jig Heads and Drop Shots during the day and Jigs and Crankbaits at night. As expected the fish are moving up shallower at night and the deep bite during the day seems to be picking up. I've been fishing from 25-50ft deep during day and shallow-15ft at night for best numbers. Overall weight is consistent for me both day and night I'm averaging between 11-13lbs. The 4-5lb fish are elusive right now.

A half ounce Junebug colored Jig/twin tail grub is producing great after dark right now. Bill and I had 11lbs in the Friday night tournament last night and caught most of our fish on the jig fished slow around steep banks. My dad finished 2nd with 14.68 using Junebug trick worms rigged on 1/4oz Jig Heads also fished around steep banks with wood. Congrats Old Man, not bad for someone 6 weeks removed from quadruple bypass surgery

Here's a couple of photo's from today's trip with Brad Dillbeck and his uncle Gary.

Adam and I just added 2 NEW Night Article's on BGS if anyone is interested in reading check em out here... www.biggeorgiaspots.com

Good luck on the water. I have days/nights open next week if anyone wants to chase a trophy Spot give me a call !!!

LB
