I'm looking for a good spot to camp and fly fish on a river/stream for a few days. Preferably the southeast Idaho area. Any suggestions? PM if necessary.
Thanks,
Justin

Warm River campground is pretty nice and right next to a fishable section of Warm River. Gets decently crowded, but there's good fishing on rivers and streams within 15 or 20 miles of the site, several nice stretches on Warm River itself.
Birch Creek can be pretty nice when the winds aren't up, but you won't be catching anything too terribly big out of it.

What do you define as the southeast part of Idaho? Preston to Pocatello? Or all the way up to West Yellowstone? How big of a river? What areas or waters are you kind of thinking of?

Some of the streams are still extra full, but most that I have been to are high but fishable. At least the ones that are lower down.
Do you have little kids with you? Some rivers are pretty dangerous still.
There is camping at the Cub River near Preston.
There is camping at the lower fisherman's access on the Portneuf River --- that is just above Lava.
There is camping on the Upper and Lower sections of the Blackfoot R.
There is camping in the narrows below Oneida Reservoir on the Bear River.
There is camping up around the South Fork of the Snake R Still running pretty high.
And the Henrys Fork
The Teton area is still flooding from what I have heard.
There is also the Lost River area.
What area interests you most?

Hah, good point. I'm trying to get myself out of thinking that the whole eastern half of the state from the UT border to the MT border counts as SE Idaho. When I first opened the fishing rules I was decently

when I went to the Southeast Idaho section.
