As my lead core is running low shall i buy more or is it time for a change?? I would love to read your thoughts ideas or rants about your experiances with any leader material you use or have used and why your rig works better with that material than others...

I use Fluorocarbon for all my leader needs.

It depends on what you are fishing. Top water I use a mono because it is more boyant. I use floro on clear conditions and for all my trout fishing.

Fluorocarbon here for all including topwater. I do use a furled leader also. If I need that sink, I make a leader with a couple strands of Kevlar. Works like a dream.
