hi all. i am really geting in to my carp fishing now and my current bite alarms are just not doing what i need them to . they are too quiet and keep cutting out. so i was woundering for any advice for loud good quality bite alarms. any help very welcome

low tech works best.
bells,
they have alligator clips on the end, and set the drag to run.
to tight the carp will run off with your pole, too loose the pole will not bend allowing the bells to ring.
get extra bells, and set the rod far enough away from shore that you can walk up to your bell and take it off the rod before setting the hook..
unlike walleye, you have all day to set the hook. "so long as it is running" if it stops running do nothing and wait, chances are good it will make another run, carp will let go some times but will usualy will pick it right back up.
