Hey guys im hopefully gonna be barbel fishing for the first time in late august (27th im leaving for somerset) but I would like to know any good rivers which have day tickets and the stretches to fish from with the place I can buy tickets from. Also I would like to know the baits/tactics that work on the paticular stretch and anything I would need to know as it's my first time fishing for barbel.

Also im think im gonna have a crack at fishing for chub so any other advice would be helpful.
