Ive been checking into a few reels and rods for my new bigcat-small shark rig. Ive settled on the Shimano TLD 15 Saltwater Conventional Reel. But has anyone ever used a okiaya Rod?? NO!!!! No off brand crap for big cats and sharks. The best rod for the money...

Shakespear TigerStik. The orange one. Even better, they make a Tigerstik jigging rod that is really light, and has a ton of backbone. I would strongly consider one of those. That will be my next rod. []
