Thanks for the report and pics Funchy, those look like some good looking bows, what was the length of the biggest? How were you fishing for them?

Gday WH2
Sorry mate, I had actually responded to another post on Deer and said I would post the pics. I should have copied the report into it earlier. Anyway here is the response I sent to another BFT'er hope you enjoy it [
]. (We went to Deer a couple of Sunday's ago now)
Hi UKRAZEE2
well my 2 mates and I went out on Deer Sunday morning. Hit the water at sunrise, threw some lures around the island chasing SM bass but no luck. Could see fish on the top of the water (looked to be taking bugs). At around 6am we said bugger it and went trolling. We started out heading to the northern end but there was alot of weed so we let the big dog eat and hoofed it to the south eastern end of the lake. Over the next 4hrs we got 8 good bows. All around 18 inches and all fat as footballs. We got 5 on Strike King lipless crank baits (usually target wiper at Willards with them) and 3 with Rapala Minnow (15ft to 20 ft diving hardbody). Troll speed around 3mph.
All fish were caught at between 15 and 25 feet. All fish were marked on the sounder so our big takeaway was if ya mark 'em you are in with a chance.
Hope this helps mate
Cheers
